Dr. Boomer Asks some important questions of interest to University City residents - Chiropractor University City Dr. Boomer Asks...

What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
How long will you need chiropractic care?
You'll need chiropractic care as long as you live in University City and encounter physical, chemical or emotional stress that you cannot adapt to or accommodate. Ready to get started? Call our office today.

Your First Visit to Our University City Practice

The patient is greeted and given a brief history of my practice and approach to chiropractic. Then a full health history is recorded. It is important to list any prescription drugs you take, since they often have side effects which complicate the case.

Chiropractic Introduction

The patient then reads a small pamphlet on chiropractic and the way it effects health.

Chiropractic Consultation/Exam

Next, is a full consultation which elicits the effect that the health of the patient is having on their daily activities.

This is followed by a computerized test to measure physical fitness and nerve balance.

In an emergency situation, the patient is then examined to determine what must be done immediately to get them some relief.

If it is not an emergency, the patient is rescheduled for the next visit.
