"I was under the impression kids get the childhood illnesses that go around. Dr. Dave told me that he adjusted children. Well, I've been sending my kids here for several months and they haven't been home sick from school since we started here. That saves me the hassle of missed work. "Mr. Hale was hit by a drunk driver at age 8 and spent one year in traction for the broken hip and leg he got at that time. He suffered all his life as the result of that injury. At about age 70 because of a serious hearing ailment he became almost immobilized and it became excrutiatingly painful to even rise and dress for the day. After weekly treatments by Dr. Rozeboom for several months he regained enough pain free mobility to enable him to get out for rides in the car, go out for lunch, and go to a movie again. Things he'd been unable to do for a long time because of the pain. During his final illness, 10 months completely bed ridden, the one pain he never had at all was back pain. For 3 additional years of a fairly normal life and lack of back pain during his last year I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Rozeboom as was Mr. Hale." - S.H.
"I was involved in a motorcycle accident. After spending about 3 months in the hospital I was released with severe back pain and limited movement of my neck. They said they had done all they could do. Needless to say I was very depressed and angry. Dr. Rozeboom, in talking with my wife who owned a restaurant nearby, said to let him work with me. "I feel I owe my life to Dr. Rozeboom because the agony I was in over a year and a half ago was killing me. It was in my left leg right at the hip. It came on gradually and right after my husband's death, it became unbearable. I could not sit (bend at hip at all) and could only stand on crutches, and then only for a few minutes. My brother's wife died about a month after my husband. I couldn't attend the funeral, only lie on my back in bed and weep from both pain and sorrow. After the funeral, my two brothers came in and carried me to the family physician. Within an hour he had me on the way to the hospital. I was laid in the back of the car in so much pain I didn't know or care what was happening. To shorten the story, the hospital specialists couldn't help me. They tried by "manipulation" surgery under anestehsia and hot steam therapy. But after a week, I was home again, no better. Pain pills didn't help very much but I existed from one pain pill to the next. Then I called Dr. Rozeboom to tell him on my husband's death. My husband had been a patient of Dr. Rozebooms. I mentioned my problem and since there was no way I could come to his office, he came to my home every day for 3 weeks. I then became able to lie in a car and be brought to his office. "I was on the verge of giving up on doctors after seeing many on my condition. Their solution on my problem was prescription medication. My side effects from the medication were worse than my condition. I couldn't convince the doctors to handle my case differently. I gave up on doctors and the fact that I could ever by helped. By the grace of god, I got a notice in the mail advertising Dr. Rozeboom Chiropractic Care and a free examination. I thought I shall give this doctor a chance to see what he could do. By the time I saw Dr. Rozeboom I thought my problem was hopeless. My neck, shoulders, upper back and head were uncontrollable. I coulnd't look at anyone when talking to them because my head wanted to move from side to side. My head would bend down and rest on my shoulder bone. I had to pick my head up to raise it and to control my head when I ate, wrote, drove and so forth. I had to hold my head with one hand and perform with the other. I was very depressed and I would feel embarrassed. It got to a point I didn't want to go anywhere or participate in anything. When I did, my only desire was to get home and lie down. That is how I got relief. When I cam to see Dr. Rozeboom and gave him my case history, he gave me assurance he would do everything possible to help me. I placed myself in his hands and worked with him. He even worked his hours to suit mine at times. My visits were quite frequent for quite a spell. I couldn't see results immediately, but gradually, little by little it was happening. It took a lot of patience on my and the doctors part. Over a long period I gradually felt I was back to the person I was. I was able to look at people when we had a conversation, not hold my head to eat, write, drive and so forth. My head didn't drop to my shoulder bone or move from side to side. It was accomplished without medicine. I see the doctor periodically just to keep myself from reverting although I do feel much stronger. It's nice to see Dr. Rozeboom and his good nature and happy disposition. "Abraham has been coming to Dr. Rozeboom since shortly after birth. The usual tummy complaints of infancy were always improved by chiropractic visits - a visit often followed by a bowel movement and cheery disposistion. Last fass he has an accident - fell over a fence onto his forehead. The pediatrition assured me there was no damage to reflexes, etc. But Abraham couldn't sleep and cried whenever I laid him down complaining his head hurt for 3 months. "Alex had been suffering from colds, ear infections, allergies - he had everything! Although a basically healthy child, Alex was very prone to sicknesses such as colds, etc. Dr. R gave Alex a series of gentle adjustments over a period of several weeks. I believe this has helped quite a lot. His cry, which was very weak, is now strong and he hasn't had a coldor ear infection in weeks (a record for Alex). Dr. R is very gentle and I felt quite comfortable with him giving Alex treatments. I recommend him to anyone and see no drawbacks at all to chiropractic care. "Due to the trama at birth caused by medical doctors that knew little about the damage that could be caused by shoving Shivahn back up the birthing canal, crushing of her head and jamming of the spine; profound and severe brain injury was incurred. The head bones and sutures were jammed and locked in place creating severe headaches and convulsions daily and nightly. Through chiropractic, holistic and homeopathic treatment Shivahn can live without pain, greatly reduced convulsions (both quantity and intensity) and is starting to learn, respond and communicate verbally.
